Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Leak Confirms Superman Cameo

A new leak suggest that David Corenswet’s Superman will be making a cameo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. While the film centers on Kara Zor-El’s journey, it seems her cousin will have a small role that ties directly into the new DC Universe continuity.

According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, Corenswet shows up in a flashback scene where Supergirl crash-lands on Earth with her loyal pup, Krypto. As the ship opens, Superman appears, looks at Kara, and simply says, “Hi there!” It’s a short moment, but one that fans are already praising for its emotional simplicity and the warm connection it sets up between the two iconic Kryptonians.

If the rumors are true this will be the second time Corenswet’s Superman will appear in the new DCU, following his debut in James Gunn’s Superman, which is set to hit theaters in July 2025. It also helps solidify the new shared universe Gunn and Peter Safran are building — one that isn’t afraid to connect its characters in more subtle, heartfelt ways.

The story follows Kara as she sets out on a dangerous space quest to help a young alien girl named Ruthye avenge her father’s death. Along the way, she’s pushed to her emotional and moral limits, encountering strange worlds, deadly enemies, and hard questions about justice, loss, and what it means to be a hero.

The movie is directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film is based on the critically acclaimed comic miniseries by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.

With filming complete and editing underway, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is shaping up to be a bold and visually unique addition to the DC Universe.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow lands in theaters on June 26, 2026.
