Amazon MGM Studios has finally revealed the exclusive footage of Masters of the Universe at the 2025 CinemaCon, giving fans a sneak peek at Nicholas Galitzine in action as He-Man.
It is directed by Travis Knight who previously directed bumble bee, the film aims to bring the beloved ‘80s cartoon to life with a perfect mix of practical effects, CGI, and larger-than-life set designs.
The footage showed Galitzine undergoing intense fight training, fully embracing the role of the legendary hero. It also revealed quick glimpses of key characters, including Jared Leto’s Skeletor, along with Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms, and Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress. The costumes look good and play faithful to the original designs, blending nostalgia with a modern blockbuster feel.
The Plot synopsis Of Masters of the Universe
Ten year old Adam Glenn crash-lands on his mother’s home planet Earth, separating him from his ancestor’s Power Sword of Grayskull. Two decades later, he takes his sword back and takes on the mantle of He-Man as he battles for his home planet, Eternia, against the evil forces of Skeletor.
