Robert Kirkman has officially confirmed that Thragg, the strongest Viltrumite of them all, has already been cast for Invincible Season 4. However, he hasn’t revealed the actor’s name yet but mentioned that he is very excited about the casting.

For those unfamiliar with Thragg, he is the leader of the Viltrumite Empire—a ruthless warrior who upholds the brutal ideals of his people. His arrival in the series means things are about to get much more intense for Mark Grayson, aka Invincible. If the show follows the comics closely, we could be heading into the Viltrumite War storyline, where Thragg becomes a major threat.
However, at the end of Invincible Season 3, the show teased something that wasn’t in the comics—Damien Darkblood. Last seen in Season 1, Episode 4, he was dragged back to Hell, and now rumors suggest that this could be how Invincible introduces Spawn into the series. If true, Spawn will likely make a cameo appearance.

What was Invincible Season 3 About?
Three months after his battle with Angstrom, Mark continues training under Cecil’s supervision to gain enough strength to compete with Viltrumites while avoiding Eve.
When Will Invincible Season 4 Release?
Although no official release date has been confirmed as of March 2025, author Robert Kirkman revealed in an interview with Variety that future seasons will follow a similar release timetable to Seasons 2 and 3. He confirmed that Season 4 will premiere in 2026.
