Marvel Studios has just shared a fresh look at Ironheart, the upcoming series that brings Riri Williams back into the spotlight. Played by Dominique Thorne, Riri first appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, showing off her genius-level skills in building advanced technology.
After her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Riri is back in Chicago, but things aren’t exactly smooth sailing. She’s up against Parker Robbins, aka The Hood a villain with a mystical hood that gives him supernatural powers.

Chinaka Hodge serves as the head writer, with Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes directing the six-episode season. Filming started in Atlanta in June 2024, later moving to Chicago in October before wrapping up in early November.
When Can You Watch It?
Ironheart kicks off on Disney+ on June 24, 2025, with new episodes dropping every week. The season finale will land right before The Fantastic Four: The First Steps hits theaters on July 25.
