Sony Has Revealed The Title For Spider-Man 4

Sony and Marvel have finally announced the title for the fourth installment of the Spider-Man movie, which stars Tom Holland, and many fans did already guess the title before, and it’s called Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and it seems we are finally getting a street-level Spider-Man movie after all.

The movie is directed by Destin. Daniel Cretton shared that filming is set to begin this summer. He expressed his excitement for the project, saying, “I’m diving deep into the next phase of this incredible character alongside an amazing team of artists. Every day, we’re geeking out over every little detail—the suit, the way he moves, and how to craft a story that’s fresh, emotional, and unlike anything we’ve seen before.”

He also praised the crew and said he can’t wait to reveal them. “I wish I could introduce you to the entire team working tirelessly on this. Their passion is unbelievable, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’re creating when Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters.

Speaking of our Spiderman, Tom Holland couldn’t make it to the cinema con, but he did send a heartfelt video message to fans. He acknowledged the suspenseful ending of No Way Home and teased what’s ahead: “I know we left you with a huge cliffhanger, and this next movie is a fresh start—exactly that. That’s all I can say for now.”

The production will begin in June 2025 in the UK and will wrap by October. The script is being written by Spider-Man: No Way Home screenwriters Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, ensuring continuity with previous installments. With a budget of $200 M, Marvel is aiming for another blockbuster success.

The film is being produced by Amy Pascal, Kevin Feige, Rachel O’Connor, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.

Fans won’t have to wait too long to see Spider-Man swing back onto the big screen—Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
