As the new season of Amazon Prime’s Batman: The Caped Crusader is gearing up for its release, a new game as part of the series is releasing as well. Amazon Luna and Warner Bros. announced the game Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, which will be only available for Amazon Prime members. This will be a co-op game which can have up to four players, as they join a special Gotham City Police Department task force and join Batman’s inner circle. Watch the trailer below.
Batman: The Caped Crusader, set in the 1940s, centers around the titular vigilante’s crime-fighting activities around Gotham City, drawing heavy influence from the detective noir Batman comics of the Golden Age.
The series faced a lot of controversy because of the gender swap and some racial changes as well. They changed the Penguin’s character to a woman. Oswald Cobblepot was reimagined as a female mob boss and cabaret singer named Oswalda Cobblepot.
For Season Two, Batman will take on several familiar foes for the first time, including the Riddler, Mad Hatter, and, after being briefly teased at the end of Season One, the Joker.
Batman: Caped Crusader season 2 will premiere on Prime Video on July 31, 2026.
