As Paramount has bought Warner Bros. Discovery, there are some details emerging about Warner Bros. Discovery’s upcoming slate of movies. There is now an update about the Deathstroke and Bane movie, and it reportedly has a working title. According to Deadline, the movie is currently titled Savage Hunters. The movie is still in the early stages of development, so the title is not fixed yet and could change later.
This project will bring together two of Batman’s biggest villains, Deathstroke and Bane.
Who is Deathstroke?

Deathstroke, also known as Slade Joseph Wilson, is a mercenary and former U.S. Army soldier who gains enhanced physical and mental abilities from an experimental super-soldier serum. The character was previously played by Joe Manganiello in the post-credit scenes of Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021).
Who is Bane?

Bane, also known as Eduardo Dorrance, grew up in prison and became extremely strong and intelligent through years of training. Later, he was chosen for an experiment involving a powerful drug called Venom, which gave him massive physical strength and endurance. Bane was previously played by Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), where he served as a mercenary connected to the League of Shadows and wore a mask that helped manage his pain.
The movie is part of the wider slate of projects being considered under the new Warner Bros./Skydance leadership. Currently, the movie does not have a release date, and the actors have not been officially cast yet. There have been rumors about Alan Ritchson potentially playing Deathstroke, but nothing has been confirmed so far. The next DCU live-action movies currently scheduled for release include Clayface, which is set to release on October 23, 2026, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which is scheduled for July 9, 2027.
