Recently, Zack Snyder posted a photo on his social media where he’s back at Warner Bros., and he said he’s happy to be catching up with them after a while, while there were no clear answers as to why he returned there.
According to reports, Warner Bros. chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy invited Snyder to join one of their regular movie nights, drawing a full house of employees who gave him a standing ovation during the Q&A.

Snyder’s appearance really caught everyone’s attention, especially the DC fans who have been fighting for 9 years to get the DCEU back on track and finish Zack Snyder’s vision for the universe, for projects like Justice League 2 and 3, Man of Steel 2, a solo Batman movie, and a Flash movie under the guidance of Zack Snyder. The hashtag Restore the SnyderVerse still trends on the internet sometimes.
However, there is currently no announcement of a new SnyderVerse project or a Snyder-directed DC movie. Snyder has previously indicated that the only DC project that could potentially bring him back would be an adaptation of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
For now, Snyder’s Warner Bros. appearance appears to be exactly what it was presented as: a special movie screening that gave employees an opportunity to reconnect with a filmmaker who played a major role in the studio’s recent history. Snyder also now holds a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery and StudioCanal, fueling talk of future projects like his Escape from New York remake.
