Both Lobo and Ghost Rider are the coolest characters from both DC and Marvel, and they have so much in common too: the leather jacket, the jeans, the bike, the fearless attitude, and neither of them likes taking orders.
So what would happen if Ghost Rider ends up in the DC Universe and Lobo ends up in the Marvel Universe? First, let’s imagine Ghost Rider entering the DC Universe.
The first person who would probably recognize what Ghost Rider really is would be John Constantine, and he could probably understand that he’s no ordinary demon and that he’s far beyond that. And just because of that sole reason, he could easily join the Justice League Dark members: John Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, Madame Xanadu, Shade, Swamp Thing, and Doctor Fate.
Almost everyone on that team is connected to magic, the supernatural, or some kind of cosmic force, so Ghost Rider would fit right in. But joining the Justice League isn’t that easy, as he joined the Dark members because he’s reckless and not a team player as well. And he looks similar to Atomic Skull, so there would probably be a lot of confusion at first.
Batman and Superman would most likely try to stop him before realizing that he’s actually hunting criminals in his own brutal way. Once they figure that out, I think Ghost Rider would slowly earn their trust.
But if he aligns with the League, it will be a nightmare for some of the villains of DC. Just imagine Ghost Rider using the Penance Stare. Imagine Black Adam being forced to relive every innocent life he’s taken. Imagine Reverse-Flash being forced to experience everything he’s done across the timelines.
Now imagine Lobo entering the Marvel Universe. Since Lobo is always travelling through space, the first people he’d probably run into would be the Guardians of the Galaxy. But knowing Lobo, he’d probably start fighting them before anyone even had the chance to introduce themselves.
Unlike Ghost Rider, Lobo will never ever join the Avengers. That’s just not who he is. He’s a bounty hunter first, and whoever pays the most is usually the side he’ll fight for.
And that’s where Thanos comes in. During the Infinity Saga, Thanos probably wouldn’t even need to send the Chitauri to Earth. He could simply put a bounty on the Avengers and hire Lobo to take them out. And knowing Lobo, he’d probably accept the job without asking too many questions.
But he could also align with one guy in the MCU, and that’s Deadpool. Out of everyone in Marvel, he’s probably the one person who would actually enjoy having Lobo around. They’re both completely insane, they love causing chaos, and neither of them takes anything seriously. The two of them together would probably be one of the funniest and most destructive duos in the Marvel Universe.
And the guy he would most probably hate would be Wolverine. Logan already barely has the patience to deal with Deadpool, so imagine putting him in a room with someone even louder, more arrogant, and ten times more destructive. Lobo and Wolverine would probably be fighting every single time they crossed paths.
