‘Avengers Secret Wars’ Filming Delayed Again, Here’s Why

Avengers: Secret Wars is the final film of the Multiverse Saga, which will be coming after Avengers: Doomsday, and it was originally set for release on December 17, 2027. But according to the latest rumors circulating online, that may no longer be the case.

The filming, which was supposed to happen this month, was first delayed to November, and now it is reportedly being delayed again to January 2027. According to the Twitter scooper Doomsservant, the reason for the delay is that…

“Good thing to note about the Secret Wars thing is that it will take less filming time because there’s not as many huge set pieces and characters with prominent roles is what I heard.” He also said, “It’s mostly actor scheduling. They want as many people on set as possible and not have to film people by themselves with stand-ins. VFX and all that has been worked on for a long time now.”

The plot details or synopsis of Avengers: Secret Wars are not yet available, but it will adapt the 1984 Secret Wars comic storyline, which saw many superheroes transported to another world called Battleworld by a god-like being named the Beyonder. There, the superheroes are forced to fight against an army of villains, and the winning side gets anything they wish for.
