Amazon’s live-action God of War series may have found a new actor to play Kratos, the lead role in the series. According to Deadline, it’s none other than former professional wrestler Dave Bautista. With his huge physique, charisma, and, of course, his acting skills, he may be apt for the role.
This comes after Ryan Hurst‘s injury, who was already cast as Kratos for the series. Ryan tore his bicep while performing a stunt, and because Amazon has a tight schedule and budget for the series, they immediately started looking for a new person to play the character.
Who is Dave Bautista?

Dave Bautista is a former professional wrestler and six-time world champion in the WWE. After his wrestling career, he played numerous roles in movies. He was one of the villains in the Bond film Spectre, which was released in 2015, and countless other roles too. While many wrestlers have jumped into the film industry, Dave was the best actor among all of them, and one of his most noted roles is Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy.
